About
Sasha Ross Becker is a graphic designer based in Manhattan with a keen eye for creativity and innovative solutions through brand identity, print, advertisement, and illustration. She is competent at solving problems, managing time, and accomplishing design requirements.
In 2007 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This left her with right sided weakness and a right-side visual field cut, but she does not let this get in her way. Living with a disability means she must think of creative solutions to get through daily life. This heightens her design ability and productive imagination for generating graphics.
She currently works as a graphic designer at Manhattan School of Music creating marketing materials for Admissions and students as well as publications and advertisements for the Advancement department.
She volunteers for Adaptive Design Associates (ADA) and has worked with them designing a trumpet holder for one handed trumpet use. She has also designed and sewed a hand brace cover as well as an ID cane arm clasp for a one-handed user. She is a disability advocate and has worked with Open Style Lab through Parsons at The New School helping them broaden the use of their designs for people with physical disabilities and cognitive challenges.
Sasha is always interested in joining a collaborative, inspiring design team to advance her design opportunities.
